MASSAGE

Indian head massage is a great massage to introduce to your existing clients or for clients who are new to massage. The treatment is applied to the upper part of the body; the shoulders, upper arms, neck, and head. It can be carried out on a chair or on a beauty couch.
The main aim is to relieve stress and tension creating a feeling of wellbeing, as well as improving the condition of the scalp and hair.
Our Indian head massage course allows you to be able to perform this treatment with the correct products, how to carry out different set ups for the treatment and the background of Indian head massage and its benefits. You will also learn how to carry out a full consultation, any contra-indications and contra actions and provide aftercare advice.

Stone therapy massage has become extremely popular over the years and is a great skill to add another level on to your massage routines. It uses heated basalt stones to relax the muscle tissue, achieving a deeper pressure whilst keeping the client relaxed.
This course allows you to be able to perform a full body hot stone massage treatment in a safe, professional and hygienic manner.

Warm bamboo is a fabulous new treatment to introduce to your clients. It is perfect for clients that love a little bit more pressure, like a deep tissue massage but is much easier on the therapist’s hands and elbows.

Hot waxing is the removal of hair from intimate areas using the application of a much thicker wax which sets on the skin.
Our hot wax course will allow you to be able to perform intimate waxing professionally in a safe and hygienic manner.
You will learn the correct application and removal of hot wax to the bikini area so you can carry out Brazilian and Hollywood wax treatments and provide clients with appropriate aftercare and home care.

Entry requirements: Therapists must already be trained in warm wax and have at least two years of waxing experience.
Notes: You will be required to give and receive an intimate waxing treatment as part of the course, therefore we ask for hair growth to be a suitable length (at least 4 weeks).

Gels are a gel-based polish that requires a UV or LED light to cure, effectively locking into the nails. Gel manicures are branded as 'two week manicure’, as the polish remains durable and intact.
This course is designed to take you through the theoretical and practical skills to enable to carry out a gel polish treatment safely and with confidence.
During the course you will learn how to carry out gel polish application on clients using French and colour technique. Do I need to bring a packed lunch?
Please bring your own lunch or you can purchase your lunch from Ocho Café next door.
Do I need a model?
You may be required to bring a model with you. Should this be the case we will inform you when booking.
What should I wear?
Please come dressed in your beauty or holistic uniform. If you don’t have a tunic please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Do I need to bring anything else?
All equipment and products necessary for the course and PPE equipment will be provided on the day of training.

Payment
A £50 deposit is required to secure you booking and training date, with the remaining balance to be completed one week before the training date.

Additional Informtation
All courses are small classes and training can be one to one to help ensure a relaxed positive learning environment.
We require full payment 1 week before course date, as you will receive your training manual before attending course to help yourself prepare and gain knowledge on your course.
On the day of training course, we try to bring more than one model into your training to help gain as much knowledge and experience with your new treatment.
